One of the greatest challenges we face as a political organization is in distributing our message to our supporters and the public at-large. While online social media platforms have enhanced our capabilities, a general media blackout still significantly restricts our reach.
To overcome that barrier, we are implementing a precinct captain program. Volunteer precinct captains will reach out to registered Libertarians, and ultimately unaffiliated voters, in their area to gather phone numbers and email addresses. Then, the precinct captain will be in charge of informing their local community of exciting updates about the Libertarian Party. These may include candidates running for office, important legislative bills or exciting local events.
